HEAT-EXCHANGERS with floating head

Purpose:

Designed for cooling (heating) of liquid or gaseous media without changing the aggregative state. The second tube sheet not fixed to the housing with the inner lid separating the tube space from the shell side, forms a so-called floating head. This design allows avoiding thermal stresses in the shell and in tubes.
These heat exchangers are standardized in accordance with GOST 14246-79, they may be two or four-way horizontal devices of 3, 6 to 9 m length or vertical devices of 4m height.
