HIGH-PRESSURE
Intended use:
High-pressure preheaters are designated for feedwater heating in steam turbine regeneration systems by cooling and condensation of steam collected from turbine intermediatestagesand by heating steam condensate cooling.
Design:
Collector-spiral high pressure heaters with horizontal planispiral tubular members are used in steam turbine high-pressure regeneration systems with the capacity from 50 to 1200 MW.
High-pressure preheaters of that kind are vertical weld-fabricated devices. Major components of the preheater are heater shell and piping system.
The heater shell consists of a detachable part (a cylinder course with one-piece spun bulkhead and a flange) and a bottom fixed part (the bottom with a flange and support).
Lower shell of the preheater is welded to the piping system manifolds.
