NETWORK WATER HEATERS
Intended use:
Network water heaters (ПСВ) are designed for network water heating by heating stream from extraction section or by boiler steam in heat supply systems.
Design and function:
A network water heater is a vertical shell-and-tube floated-head device. Basic components of the water heater are heater shell, piping system, upper and lower waterboxes. Distinctive feature of network water heaters manufactured by «BASET» Research & Production Company, Ltd. is that the network waterbox is designed without anchor ties and with extra- heavy tube sheet. This solution simplifies heaters disassembly and assembly for periodical heat exchange pipes scale removing. Extra-heavy tube sheet is stiffer, and that eliminates the risk of network water leakage between waterbox baffles and tube sheet.
Network water runs along heat-transfer tubes and heating steam comes through the steam-supply nozzle into intertubular space.
Steam condensate flows to the bottom part of the heater shell and is discharged from the preheater via preheating valve operated by an electronic automated control device.
The automated condensate level control device keeps normal condensate level in the preheater shell, discharges excess condensate to the drainage network and prevents steam outflow from the preheater shell.
Noncondensable gases accumulated in the preheater are discharged via the preheater shell nozzle.
Network water preheaters of other standard sizes may be manufactured upon customer's request.
