WATER-TO-WATER HEAT EXCHANGERS

Intended use:

Steam-water heaters (ПП) are designated for hot water supply and heating systems operating in the following conditions: 70/150 °C; 70/130 °С и 70/95 °С.

Design and function:

The steam-water heater with elliptic bottoms and heat exchange surface of 32 m²; operating steam space (over)pressure of 7 kp/cm² with four-way water outlet - preheater ПП1-32-7-IV OCT 108.271.105-76. Steam-water flat-bottomed heater with heat exchange surface of 9 m² with two-way water outlet -  preheater ПП2-9-7-II OCT 108.271.105-76. Piping systems may be manufactured of bare or finned brass tubes. Preheater shells and piping systems may be manufactured of special-property steels and alloys upon customer's request. Request for manufacture of piping systems produced by «BASET» Research & Production Company are invited.

The heater is a horizontal-type shell-and-tube heat exchanger, basic components of which are: heater shell, piping system, front and back (floating) waterboxes and heater shell head.

Heater basic components assembly is carried out by detachable flange fitting enabling to perform maintenance inspection and repair.

Heated water of the heater runs through tubes and heating steam comes through the nozzle in the upper part of the heater shell to intertubular spaces where steam flow guiding segmental baffles are installed. Heating steam condensate flows to the bottom part of the heater shell where it is discharged from the heater. Noncondensable gas (air) accumulated in the heater is discharged through the nozzle at the heater shell.
