Intended use:

Intermittent blowdown separators are designated for plant drain collection, intermittent blowdown, deaerators collection and transfer, emergency discharge from boiler drums, emptying the steam superheater and main and auxiliary steam line blowing.

Intended use:

Continuous blowdown separators are designated for separation of steam-water mixture generating from purge medium of steam generators into steam and water and is mounted in continuous blowdown circuits.

The separator is equipped with two safety valves ДУ 80 of T-32 Mc-3 type.
